See the Swoogo MCP Server at Boldpush AI for Events Demo Day (We’re Built Different)

April 30. Five minutes. Two demos. No slides.

Julius Solaris and the Boldpush team are putting together the biggest AI for Events Demo Day yet. It’ll be 39 companies, 5 minutes each, half a day, free, live only. We’re one of the 39, and we’re showing off our latest build: the Swoogo MCP Server.

I’m Jessica, VP of Engineering, and I’ll be doing the demoing! Pressure’s on. Here’s what we built and why it matters.

The problem with AI in event tech right now

Every event platform is talking about AI. Most of them are building it the same way: locked inside their product, doing what they decided you need, accessible only through their interface.

That’s a walled garden. Your data goes in. Their AI features come out. And if you want to use Claude, or ChatGPT, or Lovable, or whatever tool your team actually runs on? You’re exporting CSVs and copy-pasting like it’s 2019.

We think that’s backwards.

What we built instead

Swoogo is the first and only event management platform with a native, ready-to-use MCP server.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI tools connect directly to external systems. Think of it as a universal plug: once connected, the AI tools your team already uses can securely access your Swoogo data. No exports. No middleware. No engineering project.

Setup takes five minutes.

What we’re demoing

We’re showing two use cases in our five minutes:

Vibe code your event site. Connect Swoogo to Lovable and build a custom event site or registration page through conversation. Describe what you want, watch it get built, and everything flows back into Swoogo as your system of record. No design team. No engineering tickets. No templates you have to fight with.

Query your event data in Claude. Ask Claude about your registrations, sessions, speakers, and attendees, and get real answers in seconds. Which companies have the most registrants? What sessions had the highest drop-off? What does attendance look like by track? Questions that used to mean exports and pivot tables, answered in plain English.

Why we built it this way

We could have built a chatbot inside Swoogo. We could have added a “generate with AI” button to a few screens and called it innovation.

Instead, we built a connection point. Because the best AI tool for your team isn’t one we pick for you. It’s the one you’re already using.

That’s the difference between a walled garden and an open ecosystem. Walled gardens keep your data inside their product and hand you the features they think you need. An open ecosystem lets you take your data wherever you want and build whatever you want with it.

We’d rather be the platform that plays nice with every AI tool than the one that tries to replace them all.
