How many tabs do you have open now? Only 50? Not bad. You’re a serial consumer of technology, constantly on the hunt for software that will improve you and your team’s productivity, even if only a little bit (every split second counts, right?). You seek the thrill of defining use cases and personas, ones you didn’t think existed, and all of your best ideas come with the tinge of anxiety that someone else might have gotten there first, or worse, have a better solution to the same problem. We get it – that’s the price of genius.

You know that modern SaaS is all Product; good decisions make fans as rabid as Bieliebers, and bad ones have you sharing a door in icy waters (we see you, Jack). Creating software that sticks means regularly taking that Quantum Leap to become your customer and live their work, live their industry, understand what success means for them and viscerally feel their pain. It’s a give and take between the customer, the deadline, the business goals, and the development team’s timing. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it — and you’ve never shied away from a difficult project.

If you can take months of laborious research and summarize it in two sentences, even though it sometimes pains you to do so; if you can be so passionate about a feature that you tear up a bit when you push it down in the backlog, because not every great idea gets a fairy tale ending, hello 👋. You might be our next Product Manager.

About Swoogo

A highly focused, fully-remote event marketing software startup. Our platform helps marketers promote, communicate, collect registrations for, and host their events of all types. Our clients expect us to be an events industry thought leader, always on the edge of new ideas with an unconventional viewpoint— and that’s what we expect from you.

We look at our culture as a galaxy. Each of our teams— marketing (the spider), sales (the fisher), customer success (the ox), and product (the giraffe)— thrive under their own set of values. Not all teams can function with the exact same code, and we think that’s pretty cool. But at the end of the day, there are some values we all share: Ownership, leadership, creativity, empathy, agility, and transparency.

What does that mean? It means we embrace the entrepreneurial spirit in everyone, and we know that the best ideas can come from anywhere. We communicate openly, and we’re always ready to try something new to find a new solution. It means our teams may not interact every single day, but we always have each other’s backs. So hey, what’s your sign?
